Kevin Allein zu Haus 1990 Devin Ratray as Buzz

Comedic actor Larry Hankin will be familiar to anyone who watched the early days of Friends, with his role as Mr. Heckles. Of course his most recognizable role is that of Roman Roy in the HBO series Succession. Buzz actor Devin is still acting and he's still very much a part of the Home Alone franchise. Kevin's elderly neighbor Marley was played by World War II veteran Roberts Blossom. He retired from acting in the year 2000 and passed away at the age of 87 in July 2011. The taller half of The Wet Bandits , Stern has continued to work as an actor throughout the years in animation, comedy and drama.

After finding this out, Kevin tackled him towards the kitchen island, causing milk to spill towards the entire family's airline tickets. As a result, Kevin was sent to the third floor for the night by their mother, Kate. While the family packed for their trip to Paris, Buzz's cousin Rod asked who would feed Buzz's tarantula while they were away, to which Buzz replied that it ate "a whole load of mice guts", which would hold it over.

It's been well documented that Culkin stepped away from acting, but what about the other McCallisters? While some continued in the industry (one even returned to the Home Alone franchise in Disney+'s latest remake), one stepped behind the camera, and another became an Olympic athlete. Stern's worked steadily in film and TV ever since, appearing on Aidy Bryant's Hulu series Shrill and in the 2019 film James vs. His Future Self. He also told Den of Geek, "It's a tremendous phenomenon to be part of and I am very glad that I get to say I played a part." "Once I saw , it was the largest lesson in filmmaking I'd ever experienced," he explained. "To see what I read on script just translating into non-stop laughter, my eyes opened up and I realized, wow, that's the power of cinema."

But despite the film and its sequel's massive success, Culkin—and the rest of the Home Alone cast—all moved on from the franchise. When movie lovers think back to the '90s, Home Alone is certainly one of the most iconic movies of the time. The movie starred Macaulay Culkin in the leading role of Kevin, a young boy trying to keep his house safe from intruders while his parents were away on vacation.

Stars Getting In

The only to really recognize his other credits was to follow his career, and apart from director Steven Soderbergh I don’t believe a lot of people would have taken it that far. Buzz was still a big part of the Home Alone movie but he wasn’t given as much focus as the other characters. Since Culkin's childhood fame in the '90s, he has lived a relatively quiet life outside of the public eye. He started acting more consistently in 2016 before joining the cast of American Horror Story in 2021. After playing Mickey on that popular series, Culkin played Harmon Freeman in two episodes of The Righteous Gemstones and voiced a character in Entergalactic. After playing Buzz, the nasty old brother of Kevin who had a not-so-desirable girlfriend (woof!), Ratray appeared in a number of TV series including The Tick, Chicago Med and Mosaic.

Devin Ratray, 44, the actor who played Buzz in “Home Alone,” is charged with punching and strangling his girlfriend, allegedly warning her that she’d “die” after she gave away his autograph for free. He was Buzz in first two Home Alone movies, then returned to play him again in the 2021 film Home Sweet Home Alone, making him the only actor to have appeared in three Home Alone films. Home Sweet Home Alone is not the first piece of content to wonder at what Kevin's life might be like in the 21st century. In 2015, Culkin reprised the role for web series Dryvrs, which painted a much darker portrait of the trauma that Kevin was still living with. Though Culkin himself doesn't make an appearance, the film does give us some glimpses of the life of his character as he heads into his 40s via a few references to the original.

What is Home Alone's Catherine O'Hara (Kate McCallister) doing now?

Most recently, Ratray was seen in Jennifer Lopez's hitHustlersas one of the men her character duped. But perhaps most exciting to Home Alone fans, he's brought back the character of Buzz for a small role in Home Sweet Home Alone. Apparently, the no-good Buzz grew up to be a cop (!), as you can see in the Home Sweet Home Alone trailer. Ratray might not have had the lead role in Home Alone, but his part was definitely memorable. While many of the kids in the cast stopped acting as the years went on, Ratray is remains in the biz and still appears in popular movies and TV shows today.

Gerry Bamman, who starred as Uncle Frank in "Home Alone," attends the "An Enemy Of The People" Broadway opening night afterparty at Copacabana on Sept. 27, 2012, in New York City. The McCallister Security sign isn't the only hint we get of Kevin's life in 2021.His brother Buzz also gives us a family update. On a sign we see that that security is provided by McCallister Security.

Cruel Uncle Frank was played by Gerry Bamman, whose last acting role was in The Following in 2015. The late actor John Candy can add Home Alone to his list of classic comedies, which include Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Cool Runnings, Space Balls and Uncle Buck (which he also co-starred in with Culkin). She's starred in a number of TV shows but also took a break from acting to get a degree in French from Vassar College. Kevin's older sister Linnie was played by screen and stage actress Angela Goethals. She has since appeared in several Broadway and Off-Broadway shows across the nineties, as well as the movie Jerry Maguire.

Examples of these include calling Kevin a phlegm-wad and a trout sniffer, as well as making barfing actions when he bullies Kevin into believing that he has eaten all the cheese pizza that he was supposed to share with him. That night, Buzz apologized to Kevin and the rest of the family, and they clapped for him. However, he then grinned to Kevin, saying, "Beat that, you little trout sniffer!", showing that he probably didn't mean anything he said. Kevin left the room angry with the family for believing Buzz and not him. During dinner, Buzz decided to dig in and take upon a whole cheese pizza that he and Kevin were actually supposed to share and he ridiculed to Kevin.

The two have co-starred in several movies together, but nowadays, they're iconically known as the parents on the beloved Canadian sitcom Schitt's Creek, for which they both scored Emmys in 2020. He's also guested on the Hulu show Dollface, which his fianceBrenda Song stars in. While on The Joe Rogan Experience podcasta few years ago, the former child star opened up about his serious relationship with Song and how he hoped to have children with her in the near future. “I have a pretty little family—a pretty girl, a pretty dog, a pretty cat and all that stuff. We’re doing the house thing and all that kind of stuff," he said. That dream came true in April 2021 when the couple welcomed son DakotaSongCulkin.

Of course, Ratray will live in classic Christmas movie infamy as Buzz, who tormented his little brother Kevin for years to come. The actor recently revealed to People that there was a possible "Home Alone" reunion in the works ... The McCallister kids and their cousins moved on to bigger roles, new careers, and even the Olympics. Pesci is 79 years old and his acting career has slowed down over the years. His most recent acting job was in 2019's The Irishman, which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

He passed the movie on to the next generation.

He spoke further about the significance of Home Alone, saying, “This film has become legacy and has affected families now for more than one generation. Parents are showing children, children are showing grandchildren something that I was a part of.

Stern has been acting steadily since his time in the Home Alone series. According to IMDb, fans can next catch Stern playing the role of Jerry Schiff in Everything's Peachy, which hasn't started filming yet. Though he didn't exactly steal the show like his older brother, the younger Culkin played Fuller, one of the cousins in the McCallisters' extended family. Today, he stars in the HBO series Succession, which earned him another Golden Globe nomination. After portraying the McCallister family matriarch, O'Hara continued to act in various films and on several TV series, including Glenn Martin DDS and Skylanders Academy. Most recently, she delighted audiences with her hilarious performance as washed-up soap opera star Moira Rose on Schitt's Creek, a role that earned her an Emmy for outstanding lead actress in 2020.

Career

Despite his lengthy resume Devin hasn’t had a lot of big successes in his career aside from Home Alone, but has managed to string together a very impressive line of credits that has earned him a spot in film history. It might not be right up there with the A-listers but it’s something he can still be proud of. Now however that he has a role as Nate Henry in Soderbergh’s show Mosaic it’ll be time to see what else he can do and to see if he can finally get past the role of Buzz for good. As the star of the film, Kevin was one of the youngest of a big family and was tired of being ignored and belittled.
